Hi Dr Haynes, I think there needs to be more consideration given to the adverse reactions of this vaccine. My very healthy Moodle became progressively unwell following the C2i vaccine. A targeted diagnosis of autoimmune/GME has subsequently been made and treatment follows with Prednisolone and Cytarabine. Prognosis is extremely guarded. At NO-TIME were any of the potential significant/LIFE THREATENING adverse reactions to this vaccine, discussed with me and in fact there is NO mention on the PDS provided with the vaccine. There is currently a "production issue" with the Leptosporis vaccine and I question whether this is an indication of a more sinister scenario? I also understand the vaccine dose is the same for a 20kg dog and a 3kg dog which appears very concerning given most prescribed animal medications are calculated according to the weight of the animal. There also appears to be a predisposition to GME (for which the Leptosporosis vaccination can be a trigger) for Maltese, miniature Poodles and other small breeds - I have even become aware of practices warning against this vaccination for animals under 4kgs. There needs to be more information on this vaccine and of course the manufacturers have directed me back to the Vet - not sure why as it is THEIR vaccine and not the vets - passing the buck? PLEASE provide video warning updates on this vaccine - there were recent (Nov 23) recalls for the Leptosporosis vaccine, specifically Treidlia Auslepto Vaccine. 7 dogs were affected and one dog died. This was reported via the ABC and concerned dog owners can search this online. Dog owners need to have significantly more information provided to them before having their loved dogs vaccinated for Leptosporosis - what is currently being provided with the vaccine is inadequate and unsatisfactory - I wish I had been fully advised of the life threatening adverse reactions and predispositions, prior to my Moodle receiving this vaccination.

Is there a certain level you use for each dog or is it generally the same

I hear clicks from a 3-4 month old Chihuahua mini puppy when he gets up from lying down to sitting. What do you think it is and is it dangerous? And his back legs is slightly bowed.. forms like an ovale shape. Thx.

We paid $3000.00 here in the US. 3 1/2 yrs after we had his left leg done his right acl went and the vet told us it would happen. He is getting that knee done next week.

I found a flea on my dog and since then he hasn't stopped scratching his lower back until the point he bleeds and losses hair, what can I do?

our dog had both rupture in a short period of time apron 6 months. he had one surgery done when it first happened, they used a metal string thing im not sure how to describe it but it didint work both times and he tore his other a few months later. He is having the plating done today on both legs, is there a high success rate for the plates and aprox how long is the recovery?
